Master Martial Artist. He has mastered 127 styles of martial arts including (among others) Muay Thai, Escrima, Krav Maga, Capoeira, Savate, Yawyan, Taekwondo, Judo, Jujitsu, Ninjitsu, Kendo, fencing, swordsmanship, Kenjutsu, Kali, Bojutsu, Francombat, Boxing, Kickboxing, Hapkido, Wing Chun, Parkour, Shorin Ryu, Silat, Chin Na, Kyudo, Aikido, Varma Ati, Jeet Kune Do, Shaolin, Ba Gua, Hung Gar, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, and Kenpo. His primary form of combat is an idiosyncratic admixture of Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Muay Thai, Karate, Boxing, Jujitsu, and Ninjitsu.

Peak Human Strength: He was seen breaking steel chains and cuffs, supporting 1010lbs ceiling, bending steel metal bars with his hands, even punched a SWAT officer through a brick wall.

Peak Human Reflexes: Bruce's reflexes were honed to such a degree that he has caught one of Green Arrow's arrows in mid flight when he tried to shoot him. He has also been able to dodge point blank gunfire.

Peak Human Speed: He could run at speeds comparable to the finest competing athletes.

Peak Human Endurance: His endurance was comparable to that of the finest Olympic Decathlon participant. He has a very great lung capacity.

Peak Human Agility: His main phase of movement was Parkour which he learned in France and used that to scale the cities rooftops in an acrobatic manner.

Through his martial arts training, he has become an expert on virtually all types of weaponry. He is an exceptional swordsman as evident in his fight with Ra's al Ghul, his proficiency in jui jitsu can proclaim his swordsmanship skill. Proficient at knife throwing, Escrima, & melee weapons mastery, having mastered Kobudo. He was trained and became proficient in all arms. He soon learned expanded melee weapon techniques and he has learned expanded weapon/device sciences. He still practices during his combat sessions to keep his skills intact, though he prefers unarmed combat.

Otherwise, Batarangs (several different types), small explosives, smoke and tear gas pellets.

Bat-Suit: The costume Batman wears is composed by kevlar and a little percentage of titanium; it's bullet-proof and resistant to various types of attack (explosions, impacts, falls, etc...). It's also flame-retarding and insulating. The gloves and the boots are reinforced to rebound the impact of punches and kicks. The gloves have also some metallic blades on their sides. The cape is super-light and it can be used to glide. The mask has a little percentage of lead, which shields the face of Batman from x-ray powers or x-ray technology; it has also an infrared viewer and auditory sensors, which improve Batman's senses. The mask, is also accessorized with some security systems (aggravating gas, electric blasts, ecc...) like the utility belt. The mask is also a transmitter receiver.

Utility Belt: Batman keeps most of his personal field equipment in a signature piece of apparel, a yellow utility belt. Over the years it has contained items such as plastic explosives, nerve toxins, batarangs, smoke bombs, a fingerprint kit, a cutting tool, a grappling hook gun, and a "re-breather" breathing device. Superman had entrusted Batman with a ring made of kryptonite, to be used should the Man of Steel ever need to be reined in (due to being mind-controlled by a villain, etc.).

Indomitable Will: He has no known superhuman powers, but he does have an extreme, almost superhuman "Force of Will". Usually associated with Green Lanterns.

Intimidation: It is widely known that Batman has the ability to instill fear in others, even the people that know him best are intimidated by him. Even those who aren't afraid of the likes of Superman fear Batman.

Interrogation: Batman is adept in interrogation techniques, often using law enforcement methods as well as torture. Several methods seen include hanging a person over the edge of a building by one leg or chaining a person upside down and beating them. He usually just plain uses his frightening appearance to get answers. "Fear is an excellent motivator" he once said.

Determining Bruce Wayne's Age

It is generally accepted in DCU that Bruce became Batman when he was 25, however that doesn't account for both his (formal, university level) education and martial arts training.

It is because of this I consider a hybrid between DCU and Nolan-Verse as a more accurate representation of Bruce's age.

Let's say Bruce began university at 18 and was there for six years (studying criminology, forensics, medicine, chemistry, etc), that makes him 24 when he finished. Now, instead of having one year to ponder what to do with his life (like DCU would have us beleive), we're going to ship him off for martial arts training for seven years (thank you, Nolan), which then puts him at 31 when he returns to Gotham to be Batman. Now back to DCU canon, Bruce acts as Batman for another three years before adopting Dick Grayson into his life, he would have been 34 at the time.

The rest of his age is determined based on events on Dick Grayson's life. So let's say that Dick begins to live with Bruce when he is 10. He will stay and learn to be Robin until he is 17, when he goes his own way. When Dick leaves, this puts Bruce at 41. Dick will be Nightwing and comes in and out of Bruce's life for the next eight years, until he has to take up the mantle of Batman at 25. This means Bruce was 49 when he 'died' or was struck by the omega beam and sent back in time.

* ~ * ~ *

Those of you looking for DCU canon only, here is the alternative.

Bruce becomes Batman at 25, plus three years on his own before Robin comes into his life, making him 28. Plus another seven years, making him 35 when Dick Grayson leaves home. And finally plus eight years until Dick becomes 25 to take over the mantle, making Bruce 43 when he 'dies'.

State of the Muses

Characeter: Bruce Wayne
Canon: Batman (Nolan-DC hybrid)
General: Bruce is doing his best to be dad to all the boys, giving each equal amount of time and attention. He's not perfect but he's doing his best. Being stuck in the village still gets him down, on the other hand, as long as there is someone from Gotham in the village, he feels responsible for them until they are returned to their own time.
Needs Threads With: I don't know.*

*Threading Bruce has become tiring and forced for me. I'm not motivated at all to write him. And while he has not learned his lesson, I might make him disappear for a while to 1) recharge his character 2) create enough instability for Harvey to break in Bruce's absence. But this is not set in stone. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do.

Characeter: Jason Todd
Canon: DC
General: Jason is in jail and no matter how many times Dick explains it, he doesn't necessarily get why he's there (other then it's what Dick wants). No one has even pressed charges, so yeah ... he's getting tired of behaving just for Dick's say-so. For now, he's taking advantage of his current situation/location to push Harvey in such a subtle way that he's slowly drawing out Two-Face. Otherwise, he misses working at the animal shelter and enjoys having dogs as his visitors.
Needs Threads With: Harassing police staff, his visitors or any new inmates?

Characeter: Poison Ivy
Canon: DC
General: Ivy is doing fine in the village. She has no reason to be upset with anyone (unless someone starts to manufacture cars or dump cans of paint into the soil ...) She adores Leto forever and always. Though attending the Valentine's party and winning Hellboy as her escort for the evening was good for her.
Needs Threads With: Ivy will eventually be involved in plots once Harvey becomes Two-Face, but until then, she is quite available. As spring approaches she might have some basic urges to satisfy ... seducing/controlling one of the farm boys (Conner or Clark) might be fun, though this can happen for nearly any pup so if you are interested, please contact.

Also, I always forget to mention this - but if there is a pup in need of ... unconventional medical attention or fighting drug addiction ... Ivy is the one to see about that. She's made up of every natural substance ... she'll help you get high or she'll help wean you off whatever your pup is already on.

(forward timed to Valentines Day)

It was early afternoon when Bruce began to zest the lemons. Scratching down the yellow skin, leaving white patches in his wake. He had three different timers clicking away, monitoring his progress, as well as checking his watch habitually as he timed the events for the evening.

The lights were off in all of the rooms except for the dining room, where the table was set for one and the kitchen, where Bruce was working.

The bedroom curtains were drawn closed and two bedside lamps were turned on instead of the overhead light.

"Where did you get the jacket?" Bruce asked, taking off his own suit and hanging it on a hanger which he was putting into the closet. He did not recognize the one that Harvey had worn to the opera house as one the blond man previously owned or one from his own collection that Harvey might have borrowed.

Harvey raised his eyebrows as he pulled the far, far too expensive black suit jacket off of his frame and tossed it over to Bruce to hang up. “Oh, this old thing?”

"Did Tim take you shopping?" Bruce suggested, though knew it was highly unlikely. Hanging up the jacket next to his own, Bruce began to undo the buttons on his dress shirt, leaving it open until he found another available hanger in the closet.

"No, Tim was dead set against me going in the first place.” Harvey took his vest off, handing it to Bruce as well. “Tim had no part in acquisition of said over-priced suit.” It was pretty much the only designer item of clothing Harvey owned.

"Is there a particular reason why you refuse to tell me?" Bruce asked, keeping an eye on Harvey over his shoulder.

“I like to keep you guessing,” Harvey countered, undoing the tie Bruce had given him a long time ago, tossing it to the other man.

"Well-" Bruce smoothed his hand over the front of the vest and jacket, still warm from Harvey wearing them, "It looked good on you."

Harvey shrugged, undoing his cuff links. “I felt like an idiot in it, or like I was going to a funeral.”

"You looked good." Bruce insisted.
